This dark blue ceramic sculpture is hand-built stoneware, deep and calm, like watching the sea before a storm. Strong flowing lines meet a deep, moody blue glaze. Storm Blue feels like standing by the water’s edge as waves roll in, calm and powerful at once.
Dark tones with blue-green depth shift and change as the light moves around it, revealing new character throughout the day.
Each piece is unique, shaped entirely by hand in my studio in Jakobstad, Finland. No two are ever the same.
