This natural clay wave sculpture is hand-built stoneware, shaped by the repeating curves found where water moves across sand and stone. Inspired by the gentle channels and markings left beneath shallow water along the shoreline.
Warm natural clay tones and a flowing form give this piece a grounded, organic presence like something the tide itself might have left behind.
Each piece is unique, shaped entirely by hand in my studio in Jakobstad, Finland. No two are ever the same.
