This pale ceramic shoreline sculpture is hand-built stoneware, a sculpture shaped by the soft lines formed where light meets the shoreline. Inspired by the pale ripples that appear in sunlit shallows. The gentle curves echo the quiet patterns left in the sand as the water shifts.
Pale silver white tones give this wide, low piece a luminous quality that catches the light beautifully from every angle.
Each piece is unique, shaped entirely by hand in my studio in Jakobstad, Finland. No two are ever the same.
