Hand-built from stoneware clay this sculpture is formed from flowing interconnected lines that twist and curve through the open space of the sculpture. The rich blue-green glaze shifts across the surface, echoing the colours of the sea, with darker earthy tones adding depth and contrast. The open form allows light and shadow to become part of the piece, changing its character as light moves around it.
