This deep blue stoneware sculpture is hand-built – inspired by the calm depth of clear water and by the way light moves when you look straight down into deep water. The Curves echo those quiet shifts and give a sense of depth that feels slow and steady.
Vivid blue glaze traces the edges of a dark, layered body, creating a piece that draws you in and reveals more the longer you look.
Each piece is unique, shaped entirely by hand in my studio in Jakobstad, Finland. No two are ever the same.
