Starting this website feels a bit like opening the door and saying, come on in.

This is where it begins

It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while. To have a place to gather everything in one spot, my ceramic sculptures, the stories behind them, and even the quiet thoughts that don’t necessarily fit anywhere else.

I’ll be able to share when something’s taking shape, perhaps thoughts from when I’m out exploring, when nature offers up details that inspire new sculpture ideas.

Over time, I’ve come to see that creating a business around my art isn’t just about sharing finished work, it’s also about learning to trust the process of being seen.

Honouring My Fears

Starting a business on my own.  Quite a huge leap!  I think previously I thought fear was something I had to overcome quickly, but I’ve learned it doesn’t work that way. It’s okay to let fear exist, to give myself time to adjust, and to let my nervous system catch up.

Instead of pushing it away, I began to honour it and try to move slowly and kindly with myself through the process.

Choosing Supportive Visibility

Putting my work into the world meant opening myself up to other people’s opinions. That’s part of being an artist, but I tried to focus on becoming visible to those who genuinely connect with my work. People who understand and appreciate what I create. My ceramic sculptures are not meant for everyone, and that’s the beauty of art.  When someone finds a piece that speaks to them, they just know.

Moving at My Own Pace

It took a while to feel comfortable being visible online. I’ve shared bits and pieces on Instagram, but it’s always felt a little rushed there. We live in a world that values speed and constant growth, but I wanted to build my business at a pace that felt sustainable and true to who I am. And my slower pace!

Always a Beginning

I’ve been working with stoneware clay for a few years now, but every piece still feels like a beginning. There’s always that moment of curiosity. Will this shape hold? Will the glaze turn out how I imagined? That sense of discovery is what keeps me coming back. Plus that little glow in someone’s eye when they see my work.

There are new pieces arriving soon, and other ideas waiting in the wings.

Thanks for being here. If you’d like to see what’s available right now you can explore the collection or just wander around the site and get a feel for what’s to come.  Welcome.
